FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • First, ask yourself: Do I want what has been reported by thousands of participants?

    1. Dramatically increased self-awareness; including the use of my words, shifting from "but" to "and"... from "problem" to "opportunity"...from "tired, stress, frustrated" to "curious, excited, hopeful, and energized.

    2. Became closer to discovering my true self, my natural authentic essence--as a person, and as a leader.

    3. Learned more about myself, including letting go of decades of hurt.

    4. Built an ongoing practice of self-compassion.

    5. Became overall more positive, calmer, more clear-headed, more focused.

    6. Stopped the excuses for procrastinating and get things done.

    7. Stronger relationships obtained--both personally and professionally."

If you answered YES to the above, then review these 10 SUCCESS FACTORS I've discovered after coaching and leading several groups through the 8-week "accelerator" Positive Intelligence (PQ) Mental Fitness / Growth Mindset Program.

You are ready for the PQ program if you can answer YES to the following:

    1. I see the value of working on my Mental Fitness, just like I see the value and importance of working out for my Physical Fitness.

    2. I am clear on which goals I want to set for this 8-week period that will make the biggest difference in my work...my life...at this time.

    3. I choose to set aside 1 hour a week to view Shirzad's weekly videos.

    4. I commit to reading/listening to Positive Intelligence book throughout these 8 weeks

    5. I am willing to show up authentically--being open, vulnerable and sharing--in a weekly Accountability Pod (group).

    6. I commit to engage in bi-weekly coaching sessions to deepen my application of the content

    7. I commit to spending a minimum of 15 minutes a day in a mindfulness practice. (There are 1440 minutes in a day. A week has 10,080 minutes. I am willing to invest 2-3% of my week's minutes so I too may gain the benefits others have reported: a calmer, clearer, lazer-focus mindset.)

    8. I am willing to jot down my reflections and key learnings daily.

    9. I am willing to move outside my comfort zone.

    10. I am ready to stop with the excuses.

This program is for the courageous. If you're really ready to take that next step to uncover your blind spots and inner critics, weaken your barriers to higher levels of performance, and accelerate your growth mindset, your emotional and social intelligence (what we call your "mental fitness")--then let's chat.

  • All my coaching services are retainer-based; meaning I offer a fee for specific services delivered over a specified period of time. These are called Coaching Packages or Consulting Packages.

As a global firm working across three continents I am cognizant that different countries have differing living standards and I adjust my 'fee for services' accordingly, as well as I have different rates for individuals, groups, and company-sponsored services. I offer my services at a fee that is customary in the place in the world you live or work.

May I suggest you ask yourself this question: What is it worth to really transform from being a good leader into a great leader? To not only achieve your KPIs, but build a winning team where your legacy remains intact long after you leave? Where you achieve happiness with ‘ease and flow’ in both your personal and professional life?

My fees and rates are reasonable and customary given my years of and level of experience. (Refer to the "ICF's Credentialed Coach Finder" for the range of fees according to credential, expertise, experience, offering, and location.)

Based on clients' feedback "You are a life changer!" "I've never told anyone what I have told you"... and a recent client texted me after his first session: "that session is still rolling with me”… What is that value to you? What is it worth to experience transformational change, not just getting to a new Point B?

And really, what's the cost of doing 'nothing'?

The number of years and types of coaching experience (1:1, group, team, virtual, in-person, intercultural) I bring, together with the various methodologies I weave into each customized session is distinguishable from newer coaches.

What is a monetary amount you put on your time?

    On your investment of energy?

Schedule a Breakthrough Session to find out.

  • It is a 45-minute complimentary Breakthrough Session so together we can explore and experience--in real time--the power, insight, and value that taking part in a coaching relationship provides; and confirm if coaching is the right choice for you at this time.

There are thousands of certified, credentialed coaches in world, and chemistry is an important success factor. During this complimentary session you can ask me questions regarding the coaching process, my experience and background, the methodologies I bring, packages and fees, availability (time zone) for sessions, and experience coaching in real time.

During this session you will get a sense of how I am as a coach and whether my style and approach are a good fit. More importantly, you will gain insight on the why and the value that coaching will bring to your life as a leader--both personally and professionally--seeing the results with your team, and in your performance.

I find I most resonate with clients who are willing to bring ALL of who you are to the coaching relationship. Is this you?

Are you clear on your desired goals for hiring a coach?

What's going to be different after this coaching engagement?

After spending time with your team at an off-site retreat?

Are you willing to go outside your comfort zone.?.. be vulnerable... commit to the work (during and outside the scheduled coaching sessions and retreat days)... be willing to be challenged... to take bold, audacious actions, and apply the coaching insights gained, to create sustainable results, transformational change, and achieve your desired legacy?

If so, I invite you to schedule a Complimentary Breakthrough Session today.

  • Transactional coaching helps you get from Point A to Point B in whatever area of your professional or personal life you wish to change. It's a very practical, useful process; strategic in nature.

Transformational coaching takes that process deeper. In addition to addressing the goals for which you wish to achieve through executive coaching, I am coaching "the whole person" not merely your "presenting issue or challenge."

It starts by discovering “who are you?”

    It not only asks:

"What do you want to DO differently?"

but also asks: "Who do I want to BE in that process?"

Transformational coaching demands a commitment to yourself—even when (and especially when) your saboteurs make excuses for you to continue on your growth mindset journey towards accomplishing your desired goals, living your vision, and leaving your legacy.

  • What my clients over the years of have discovered is that coaching is not “just an event”.

It is more than “an hour with me" as their coach. It is a relationship.

    A partnership.

And there is much that occurs “in between” the times we “actually meet” in person or virtually.

Therefore, I offer a blended "hybrid approach" to the many ways you will receive coaching from me:

    In-person (usually a 45-60 minute session; sometimes a quick 10-minute power session!)

Virtual sessions via Zoom, MS Teams, GoogleMeets

e-coaching questions and messaging via WhatsApp, texting, and/or email for accountability, follow-up

  • ICF defines coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential".

Coaching focuses on visioning, achieving successful outcomes, addressing challenges of the present, in order to move forward into the future.

Therapy emphasizes psychopathology, emotions, and revisiting the past to understand and manage the present. Sometimes medication is prescribed (though not always.)

So since Coaching and Therapy focuses and emphasizes different aspects of your life (personal and professional); yes, I do have clients who see a therapist, counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist while simultaneously engaged in coaching. My coaching contract/agreement asks about current medication and therapy to ensure alignment and readiness.

And, as a credentialed coach with the ICF, I follow the ICF Code of Ethics, including "Remain alert to indications that there might be a shift in the value received from the coaching relationship. If so, make a change in the relationship or encourage the Client(s)/Sponsor(s) to seek another coach, seek another professional or use a different resource".

  • Get to the 'core'-- spelled in Latin without the 'e'.

    'Cor' means 'heart'.

Cor* Latin noun cor, meaning "heart" gives us a number of English words, including the opposites concord ("harmony or agreement") and discord ("conflict")

I start at the root level of the individual.

    At the 'heart'.

    At the core.

    InnerCor.

Instilling a growth mindset, before shifting to the outer layers. Because starting with your essence... your core values and what is truly important to you is key for alignment. For growth. For leadership mastery.

    For leaving a legacy.

Taking a "whole person" approach, we explore further the issue, challenge, obstacle, or focus facing you or your team within the context of the greater organisation.

Just as the spiral of InnerCor Global LLC's logo starts from the inside moving outward, as your transformational executive coach, I guide you to "dig deep"... unpeeling the layers of the onion (spiral) to get to what's really important at "the heart" (cor) of the matter: THE InnerCor.

The "Global" in InnerCor Global LLC reflects who and where I serve: clients and organisations across multiple continents and time zones.
